Williamsburg Landing is a retirement community sited on 133 acres neighboring Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia. The expansion of Williamsburg Landing’s Edgewood Neighborhood consisted of 32 single-family homes as well as 31 manor-style apartment units. The expansion also includes a 14,000sf wellness and fitness spa focusing on a holistic approach to senior fitness with a full aquatics program. The entire neighborhood is designed using the New Urbanism approach to planning and a traditional architectural style reminiscent of Colonial Williamsburg. The project received several national awards for design. Janet Reynolds served as Project Manager while Vice President at CSD, the Architect of Record. AIA/AAHSA Design for Aging Special Recognition Award, 2007.
