Cherry Ridge

Cherry Ridge, sponsored by the St. Ann’s Senior Living Community, is a not-for-profit CCRC campus targeting a moderate income market in Rochester, New York. The community’s first phase has a total of 70 Independent Living apartment units, 34 Independent Living patio homes, and 53 Assisted Living units including 26 Alzheimer’s Assisted Living units. A 10,000 SF chapel/ multi-purpose space with an independent living cafe is also included. The project received several national awards for design. Duncan Walker served as designer while Vice President at CSD, the Architect of Record. SWBR served as Associate Architect. AIA/AAHSA Design for Aging Award 2006 and 2007.
